Individual Craniosacral Therapy

David Nemeroff, NCTMB is a national board certified massage therapist formally trained at the Pennsylvania Institute of Massage Therapy in deep tissue and Swedish Massage. After graduating, he continued his education by learning medical Qigong (Chinese Energy Methods) and Craniosacral Therapy (specifically level 1 and 2, Somato-emotional Release and applying Accupuncture theory to Craniosacral Therapy).

Since that time he has worked at a Chronic pain office, therapeutic massage centers and even on horses. Now David works in his private practice, focusing on Craniosacral Therapy because of the profound efficacy he has seen.

Craniosacral Therapy was originally developed and cultivated by osteopathic physician John E. Upledger. CST is a non-invasive and gentle method of evaluating and improving the craniosacral system which is made up of the dural tube, membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surrounds and protects the brain and spinal cord. With a light touch, about the weight of a nickel, a craniosacral practitioner can release restrictions in the craniosacral system and throughout the rest of the body. Sessions are done fully clothed with a holistic approach. By complementing the body's natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction, including:

  • Migraine Headaches
  • Chronic Neck and Back Pain
  • Motor-Coordination Impairments
  • Central Nervous System Disorders
  • Orthepedic Propblems
  • Colic

  • Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Post-Surgical Dysfunction
  • Infantile Disorders
  • Learning Disabilities

  • Stress and Tension-Related Problems
